Woodbury, Minnesota

This project for a new suburban parish included a 1500 seat worship space with a large gathering area, offices and a new K-8 school and early childhood learning center. Responsibilities included committee education and the development and implementation of the artistic program for all elements of the worship space. This includes the artistic program for the windows and wall reliefs; the sculptural program, design concepts for altar, ambo and font, and the design of the tabernacle; as well as color selection for interior finishes.. Architectural research was provided to develop specific visual clues and design references for this building that would recall the churches that St. Ambrose commissioned in the fourth century.
