After completing a new copper dome on the 1907 structure, the second phase of work on America's first Basilica included a new Marian Shrine in the upper nave. The development of the unfinished undercroft area included a large hall, prep kitchen, art gallery and a new daily Mass chapel with reconciliation rooms. I was involved in all decisions for the chapel and undercroft development including custom furnishings and concept design.

The St. Joseph Chapel provides flexible seating for 135.

The reconciliation chapels are bathed in a warm light that comes through glass tubes and is then reflected onto a gold leafed ceiling.
